Body-Based support for Clarity and Growth

Sometimes the body carries what the mind has learned to push through.

You may notice this as tightness in the chest, a clenched jaw, a heavy stomach, fatigue, restlessness, or a sense of being distant from your own needs and feelings.

Mind-body therapy helps you gently listen to these signals without forcing, analysing, or rushing. Through body awareness, grounding, reflective conversation, and creative therapeutic support, sessions create space to understand what may be asking for care.

Return to your body. Reconnect with yourself.

What to Expect in Mind-Body Therapy Sessions

Well Being Therapy

A gentle and grounded process

Mind-body therapy creates space to notice what is happening beneath the surface, not only in your thoughts, but also in your body, emotions, breath, posture, energy, and inner responses.

Sometimes stress, emotional overwhelm, or past experiences can be felt through the body as tension, heaviness, numbness, restlessness, holding, or disconnection.

By bringing gentle awareness to these sensations, you can begin to understand what your body may be communicating and create space for release, steadiness, and reconnection.

Sessions may include reflective conversation, somatic awareness, grounding practices, creative expression, and gentle inquiry. You do not need to explain everything perfectly, and you do not need any art experience.

The work is paced carefully and shaped around what feels most supportive for your healing, clarity, and growth.

University research has explored how somatic therapies can help people safely explore the connection between physical sensations and emotion, and how breathwork or gentle body movement may support the release of tension. Read more here.

How I work

My approach is warm, grounded, and integrative. Depending on your needs, sessions may include counselling-informed reflection, art therapy, somatic awareness, and Gestalt-informed inquiry.

We may explore what you are feeling, what your body is communicating, and what may be asking for care, expression, or understanding.

This work is not about forcing change or rushing insight. It is about creating enough safety, awareness, and compassion for change to emerge naturally.
